C, Oracle unix programming like awk and certain admin work on servers like Novelle are
okay too.

                to Susan Reynolds:

COBOL works great with JAWS for Windows. I just finished converting
over
700 COBOL programs for Year 2000 compliance with it. The programs
reside on
a large computer and I used a terminal emulator called "uwterm". I
also use
another one called Reflections which connects me with the larger
computer.
I don't know about the C language but I imagine it would be fine too.
Anything where the programming instructions are entered line by line I
                believe would work out excellent.

                greetings listers:

a friend of mine is planning to take either a
programming and operating diploma course or a
networking and technical support diploma course at
                college.

i would like to know how jaws works with the
                following:
C, C++, Unix, Cobol, Oracle, RPG/400 and Novell.

if anyone can give me feedback about in which
direction my friend should gear his studies, we would
                greatly appreciate it.

                much thanks.
