if you are just upgrading just because then DON"T!

when i was selling win 98 upgrades we were seeing close to 80% failure rates
and restoring back to win 95 was a pain.

if there is a good reason to upgrade then try to get an OEM win 98.  it is
more stable and usually has a better chance of success on older machines
