After having installed 3.31 and encountering numerous problems with it on my
system, I sent a deatailed message to HJ tech support and asked if perhaps,
there were settings I might need to change on my computer to make it more
compatible with 3.31.

The only reply I received from HJ was that my message had been *escalated*
to their test and development staff and assigned an inquiry number.  The
salutation on their reply was addressed to Mr./Ms. which gave me the feeling
it was only an automated post.

There was no attempt to answer my specific questions and I have heard
nothing further.

Is this the way email tech support is now being handled and am I suppose to
make contact and to whom?

I guess I am puzzled as to why HJ put a product out on the market for
consumer use, but when I send a question to technical support I am told it
is being directed back to test and development!
