Hi guys. I have a question to post...actually a couple of questions. I would
like to put windows 98 on a laptop with Jfw, but I want to know if I have
to reformat my hard drive to put the new version on. If you have any
experiences or details to share on this point, please write me privately.
Also, how would it work with Jfw, and why would people say it would mess up
certain things when you try to install 98 on a laptop. The person who told
me was not very specific about what would be messed up and if it would be
repairable or what. I know there is a special kind of installation for
laptops but I need some info about what would be required and what is
involved. Third, I want some genuine info about whether or not I should
upgrade to Windows 98 given some of the problems people have with Jfw. Are
they worth upgrading from 95 to 98? I have the bottom build of Windows 95,
namely 4.0, and that is why I am asking. Thanks for any help.
