    Hi, Randolph,
    Try setting the user verbosity to "advanced" by opening the JAWS
configuration manager (insert-6)in MS word.  Press alt s to set options,
then u for user options.  Find the user verbosity group and arrow to the
"advanced radio button.  Ok that and press control-s to save the
configuration.  Then you won't get the JAWS help messages.
