To be on the safe side--take the disk with you. That's what I do. It is
definitely not a good idea to try copying or doing anything else with your
auth disk except what it is designed to do. Be very careful about what
folks tell you on this list. They mean well, but will sometimes provide
advice that can get you in trouble.
