Hi, listers! I've just downloaded and installed the new JfW 3.5 beta, and
I'm really impressed with it! Still works great in IE 5.01 and Outlook
Express 5 of course. The additional information about tables on web pages
is really helpful, and I really like the fact that it's so customizable.
Lots of little annoying bugs that were present in 3.31.35 are gone and it
runs really smoothly! The best thing in my opinion is the fact that JAWS
will now run in the system tray. That's really helpful when you've got a
lot of applications running at once. I'm a multi-tasking type of guy, so
I'm really loving this. The one small bug I've found so far is the fact
that when tabbing through links on any given web page, the word "tab" is
spoken before each link is read. This wasn't the case in previous versions,
so I hope they can fix that. There is a workaround by the way. If you're
having the same problem, just go into the config manager in the key labels
section, mute the tab key, and all should go well. Once again, nice job Hj!
