there are faster ways to get this done.
if you have the correct ICQ scripts for your
version it works quite well.
ICQ99a scripts are on the JFW page under scripts
for JFW3.2
ICQ99b scripts are on the JFW page under scripts
for JFW3.3
they both should, but I am not promising, work in
both versons.
once you have the scripts installed, press
ctrl+shift+I to open the ICQ window. if you have
a new message, it will pop up instead.
the message should be read automatically, but if
not, shift tab about 3 times will get you to the
edit field. once read, press alt+p to reply.
after that, type your message and press either
alt+s or ctrl+enter to send your message.
if you just want your contact list, but not your
new message, you can use ctrl+shift+a to show or
hide the window. it might take 2 presses of the
key depending on if it is already visible.
you can find out more commands with insert+h, but
I would recomend having a tape recorder going
since the list is rather long. in the next
version of the scripts, I plan to ad a keystroke
to have the notes pop up in a file for easy
reading.
kevin and I are working on new scripts which we
hope to have available soon.
hope this helps.
