Is the following coincedental or not?
Until I downloaded and installed JFW 3.5 when my computer dialed my modem
speaker emitted sound so I would know that it was doing it's thing. The
only changes I made to my computer was to install and run JFW3.5, now the
speaker is silent (both in Eudora and IE 5). I went to modem settings and
the speaker volume is at 33 percent, so this is not the problem. I tried
loading Jfw3.31 and the speaker remains silent, the same for rebooting.
Any suggestions?
