Hi,

Cooledit as of version 1.1 is not JFW friendly. Much to much is done relying on the
mouse. Soundforge has more keyboard shortcuts than cooledit, but it still needs a lot
of practice getting used to work with audio file editing. The worst miss of Soundforge
is that you cannot go back and forward while playing you have to stop and use
shortcuts where you only rely on visible indications of how much you move back or
forwrard through the file. If I were to buy audio editing software I would no doubt go
for Soundforge and try to convince them to build the function of going fast through
the file while playing. If there is any nonexpensive way of getting hands on
Soundforge I would like to hear about them. I have only used the program and friends
computers, because it is very expensive!!! unless you can find it bundled with audio
cards and that is a possibility at least with some of the more expensive cards from
Creative Labs.

Regards

Claus Thgersen
