HI Tony,
In Outlook 98 and 2000, your address is filled in, but not read
automatically as is the case with Outlook Express. AT least that has been
my experience. After you type in part of the address, tab to the edit field
to begin typing the text of the message, and then shift-tab back to the To
field. You'll hear the name of the addressee. It's not as nice as Express,
which reads the name automatically as you fill it in, but it does work.
Also, when saving the message, if Outlook sees other matches from your
address book, you'll be presented with a list of similar names which allows
for choice of the address you wish. Just highlight it and press the enter
key.
Best Regards,
Les
