On 6th Oct. 2007 Santal Engineering Students'
Association SESA which was created on 13th August 2003, celeberated 4th
Anniversary of Freshers' Welcome.
Big Hall of Sarat Sadan was booked for this
occasion. The program was fantastic & awesome. The program started at 2:00 p.m
& continued up to 9:00 p.m. Name of the chief guest- Mr. Niyananda Hembram, Mr.
Ramchandra Murmu, Dr. Shila E. Besra, Mr. Bijoy C. Burman. More than 350 people
gathered including freshers, senior santal engg students, santal students from
non-engineering dept. & Guardians.
In the first half of this program we had an
opening song followed by speech from our respected chief guest. After that we
inaugurated our official SESA logo. For the first time we have published our
SESA magazine, that also was inaugurated by our chief guest. All freshers, came
from various Engg Inst in W.B gave their introduction. This year we also
awarded present top three rankers of WBJEE (by giving departmental book
necessary for their future). In the second half we had cultural dance program
where many students participated & their performance was excellent. Some
professional dance troops were also called.
In the meantime we distributed SESA Question
paper for survey . In the program our Alumni announced that they will take a
class for sharing some tips/suggestions regarding Campus Interview. Next day
more than 30 students participated in that class, it was very beneficial for
all of us.
