Whatever spin you and your christian missionaries partners take, it is
pretty clear that this whole violence is induced by
attempts to include those who do not qualify for Kui reservations.

I will respect and tolerate only for those who respect and tolerate my
people and beliefs. Christian missionaries are not social enterprises. They
are in the business of converting unethically the poor and the ignorant. And
they malign other religions.

Below is a tyupical comment Christains missionaires make of our religion.
Frankly these hate mongers come in various garbs. The evangelist, the
lobbyist, covert ones like Paul Dinakaran and John Dayal. If they disparage
my religion, I have not sympathy for them.
The modern well aware Hindu will exactly hit then where it hurts. We don't
take things lying down anymore

"*AD 2000 and Beyond described Varanasi, Hinduism's holiest city as full of
temples dedicated to Shiva "an idol whose symbol is a phallus", and as a
city whom many (?) consider the "very seat of Satan". One Rev R V Paricha
has been described (Observer, March 24, 1999) as having authored a plan, on
behalf of 94 Christian organisations, to target Orissa for conversion
efforts, on the grounds that the caste structure of Orissa lacks the
polarisation of the high-and-low caste characteristics of South India. "*

*Missionary school in Jharkhand insults Lord Rama*

The Khuti area of Ranchi has been tense after a Catholic-run school showed
Lord Ram in jeans and Sita in salwar kameez while enacting a play.

Though the school administration has apologised to public and parents for
the mistake, it does not seem to have made any impact on the VHP.

Rama was reportedly presented as a drunkard and as the villain of
'Ramayana', with Ravana shown abusing and beating him with slippers. The
audience of the play point out that it seemed the play was meant to lower
the dignity of the Hindu god, which irked a few students and teachers of the
school.

The matter was later brought to the notice of Hindu rightist groups, who
have called a one-day bandh of Khuti sub-division about 30 from Ranchi.

"I was not aware about the theme of the play. If it would have been brought
to my notice before enactment, I would have stopped it. We will ensure such
things will not be repeated in future," the school principal Father A tete
reportedly said in his apology letter.

The apology of principal does not seem to have had any effect. On Monday
evening the effigy of the principal was burnt at Ranchi's Albert Ekka chowk.

"The missionary-run schools do something to lower the dignity of Hindu gods
on a regular basis . Their main reason to enact such an act was only to
lower the dignity of Lord Rama, and force innocent people to convert to
Christianity," said Pramod Mishra, Assistant secretary of Vishwa Hindu
Parisad (VHP).

He said: "The Christian missionaries should not put up such acts which hurt
the sentiments of another community."
