Dear Dayanidhi Marandiji, Being a tribal from Bastar I can't agree more with your comments.
Recently I got a chance to hear from the Public Relation Officer of Essar company who are setting up their Steel Plant in Dantewada of Bastar district.He had such nice figures as to how the tribals will benefit from the project and so on.In the same forum there were some tribals who will be displaced by Essar project.They had such horrifying things to tell of the Essar people. It seems that the Essar people have already hijacked their only source of water.Their lorries are creating pollution in the whole area.huge trees have been felled which the tribals use to protect.The villagers are being harrased daily by the government officials and the Essar goons. What has happend to the human side of all these corporate houses???
