Dear Akhand What is your basis of claiming that this forum is of those "who want to divide" and "are steering it away from national interest"? Please substantiate before calling some of us "traitors". You say very hurtful things in very soft language.
Do you know anything about Indian history - we lost our freedom a thousand years ago?? you have such a twisted mentality - all the time trying to divide. In that sense we lost our freedom when Ashoka converted to buddhism!! And then regained it when the Hindu rulers came back on. What a wonderful understanding of history? How much surplus did the Mughal rulers took out of the country? Now its the muslims who are the target. And who is this we - does it include the ahoms and the Nagas, the Kondhs of Orissa and gonds of MP, the tamils and the telugu people. When did they lose their freedom? The Kondhs were never subdued till the british period. the telugus came under muslim rule only after collapse of Vijaynagar empire. So are they not we? Creating a single narrative to submerge the diverse histories of our people, so that you can divide hindus from muslims, hindus from christians - isn't that your aim here? Who is the traitor then - you who sit abroad and try to divide (and rule) or people who live and work and fight on in this country. you really think you understand our national interest better than us!! Also when you are talking about national interest, which nation are you talking about - from your mails it is becoming clear that you are a British Citizen and not even an Indian Citizen. No one stops you from talking about Indian nationalism even if you are not legally a citizen, but at least make it clear. Interesting, even my parents were born in a British colony - India- but that hasn't made me british - I am an Indian. you always have a choice -come back and stay in Latehar or Gumla, take Indian citizenship. Once you do that we will take you seriously- even as a Hindutva propagandist. I know for a fact that each person who has written strongly to you is on the ground, fighting hard for the people of Jharkhand or its neighboring states- this includes Gladson and Pravin and yours truly. At least don't try to divide us on basis of religion. And if you have problems with Christians and evangelism you should start preaching in the overwhelmingly christian country that you live in and apparently are a citizen of. Leave us to our own struggles, battles and devices- we will deal with them. Same applies to those armchair warriors who sit in the AC offices and homes across seven seas and teach us about one-nation one people - we are very well aware about our nation and our loyalty to it - and we have not voted with our feet by running away from the travails and troubles of this great nation of ours. Stop preaching us the RSS/hindutvavadi nonsense- if you have courage leave your comfortable perches in USA and UK and work in Jharkhand. I would rather respect the RSS pracharak who lives in the villages and tries to do what he does even though I don't agree with him than gasbags like you - that guy is putting his life where his mouth is- rather than jokers like you who dream of an idealised India and its "one people" while living in USA and UK. Hum logon ka aapsi mamla chalta rahega - we fight and then we makeup - we are part of one big family in this country. Lekin aap log jo is desh se chale gain hain - kripya yahaan aag lagane ki koshish na karen. Athithi ke hisab se aap aayiye - you are welcome. Otherwise you are as unwelcome as the firangi missionaries. regards Nachiketa On Mon, Mar 10, 2008 at 12:21 PM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear Prabir Ji > > You have not condemned those who are calling me names such as Pakhandi. > > My argument has been for the Unity of India, regardless who makes up its > population, and have shown we lost our freedom 1000 years ago.
