Dear all,

Venkat has mentioned points worth noting and these are facts that can not be
ignored. I do agree it may upset certain persons, but the fact reamins our
culture and heritage has been more that 6000 years and i would say one of the
most scientific.

Also, no harm in any religion as every body has the right to follow one. But
motivating a religion change, mostly by luring them giving monetary benefits is
wrong.

tribals to Hinduism

Dayanidhi

I agree with your sentiments 200%. All communities have their own individual
way of beliefs, culture etc.
The tribals have a complete right to their religion. Nobody should come and
impose or seduce or coerce them to change their religion -- be it hindu or
Christians.

But why are you not asking .. who is indulging in this activities ... Have a
look at Nagaland . It is nearly 100% Christian today. What happened to tribal
religion. Why govt did not protect it.

People in india of varying beliefs have thousands and thousands of years of
living amicably without forcing their beliefs on others. The tribals have
maintained their beliefs just like many of us have. But what has changed in
the last 100 years or so. The answer is .. the arrival of missionaries. With
their agenda to use social service to convert and replace native beliefs with
their religion.

So please Dayanidhi ... do you blame the Hindu or Hindutva for this problem.
Some one else is the trouble creator.

Venkat
