  JOHAR and Thanks,
I know you two will understand and have much more knowledge and interest in
your hearts about tribal people than most members of the group. Some of them
have taken up lot of our valuable time and energy in discussing a very personal
and spiritual matter during last few months and have generated some ill feeling
and disharmony amongst the members.I would urge them to move on and if they
have any interest in tribal people and their plight, then they should go and
meet them and ask them what they want for themselves. I am sure they are not
going to ask for any religions but for clean drinking water, food,
medicines, education, jobs, roads, electricity and roofs over their heads. They
would probably ask for some dignity and to be left alone with their traditions,
customs,cultures and language.

      Sanamkoge Johar!

A Santhal folktale named "bamboo curry" has been included
in the CBSE 5th std. English textbook Marigold[2008 edition](pp. 16-17).
This is for your information. This would further help to identify
Santhals as distinct ethinic group in the Indian mainstream together with
other recent achievements( Eighth schedule, Olchiki in Unicode, Intesified
Cultural Activity of the Santhals).
