1. The Clustering or Ghettoisation of Muslims started after the 1969 Communal riotsing the Congress rule when over 50,000 lives were lost in a week of free for all and there was no NDTV or Rajdeep Saresai to wail for Muslim lives lost. The cause was the belief in Muslims that in all riots the Hindu-s were the victims in Centuries past and presumed similar bashing of Hindu-s, but never expected the refugees from Pakistan to retaliate with vengeance. 2. You are living in Gujarat. You are aware how Abdul ith the support of Congress and CM was openly intimidating Hindu-s to sell off their properties at throw away prices- distress selling and how the "Mini Pakistan"JUHAPURA was formed exclusively for Muslims. 3. Since hundreds of years the segregation of housing Societies on religious /Caste distinctions have been followed, with people of same faith gathered together as in "Poles" of Ahmedabad. There are Muslim Poles and Hindu Poles and residences are exclusively for the faith believers only. 4. It is Politicians who have manoeauvred riots in the past but not after Mody came to power, it has been peaceful post-2002 for six years without even a terrorist attack, which was broken last month. 5.Democracy prevails in Gujarat that is why you found Mody win with thumping majority in spite of opposition from his own party. IF YOU MEAN DEMOCRACY IS FREE RUN FOR CONVERSIONS AND DEPICTION OF HINDU GODS IN NUDE (MS UNIVERSITY) WELL SUCH DEMOCRACY IS NOT ALLOWED I AGREE. Jyoti, you cannot but agree that Gujarat is the most peaceful and prosperous State in India for anybody to live, INCLUDING MUSLIMS BUT NOT INTIMIDATORY EVANGELISTS LIKE VASSON THAMPU OR CEDRIC

Democracy does not exist when there is so much intolerance prevailing. I agree that is it is dificult to understand changes that has happened in Gujarat post 2002. Because changes u will experience when u go to take house on rent and u r muslim, difference you will expereince when u go to buy bread at night in muslim area... when u expereince boundries within u r own home town.things have chaged there friends. rest everything is very very fine in Gujarat. everything is hunky dory no need to worry. Right? warm regards jyoti To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ps.co.in From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] com Date: Fri, 8 Aug 2008 08:12:00 +0100 Subject: Re: [ =>> Jharkhand <<= ] Re: Statement By CONCERNED CITIZENS OF GUJARAT on "BOMB BLASTS"(31st July,2008) Every coin has two sides. I have cousin who is married to a Gujarati , Lives in Ahmedabad currently. The stories that I have been told do not add up to Ven's Modi sponsored media stories/reports. There is no role of patronising. Surely there must be some from Gujarat with positive experience. I have not read those report in this forum. They must me in too much comfort or just not bothered to share their happy moments. I hope the healthy debates carry on. To say that India has the best democracy system today is just baloney. I am not sayings western system is the best. Politics is a dirty word and who delve in politics are just devils in disguise.
