This might be another "joke" played in the name of Adivasi-s or tribals.
Hitherto they were living peacefully in the forests, cultivating the lands and
collecting forest produce..etc. without any title of ownership of lands, they
never needed.

But once the titles are handed over to them it would not be long before the
land-sharks, illegal distillers and businessmen land there andse lands from
them for a price and throw them out of the lands they enjoy now without titles.

We have experience how urban lands were set apart/ reserved for housing for
weaker sections SC/ST, and allotted by the Govt. through concerned depts. When
the building come up and occupancy starts, most of the original allottees are
either only "paper allottees" or those who have sold off their property at a
premium and left!!

This is a ruse played for cornering the urban lands earmarked for the weaker
sections, where now you find plush villa-s and bungalows ownd by the affluent.

Let the tribals live as they used to. Once the titles are given to them it
would not be long before they are thrown out after getting the ownership
transferred- if there is a prohibition of transfer, a power of attorney or some
loopholes would be found to get these from them!!
