Naxal violence in Surgja: sixth murder claiming four lives (one civilian and
three uniformed) after Kalluri left Surguja
Esteemed All,
First of all let me apologize for delayed communication. I am running sick now
days.
Sri Shiva Ramah Prasad Kalluri I.P.S. of 1994 batch who was S.P. Balrampur left
for Police Headquarter Raipur as D.I.G anti naxal operations, since then the
Surguja became an easy inroad for the Naxlites.On last tuesday, naxals killed
Late Sri Bhuvneshwar Korwa of Bhootahi village in Samri region. He was abducted
four days before he was murdered in Chunchuna Pundag village of Samri area. On
02/09/2008 he was stabbed to death near Sri Madan Sonis home.
It is ironical on the part of the Police, which:
Reached the spot after three days.
Has not confirmed murder of the poor Korwa, who was earlier a naxlites,
but the peace mission of Sri Kalluri motivated him and he became a police
informer.
Even after loosing its three Jawans says that they have driven out the
naxals.
It appears that the Police of Surguja range has lost its morale after transfer
of Sri Kalluri as the D.I.G. (Anti Naxal operations). During the tenure of
Kalluri as S.P.Balrampur, his information network was so strong that many times
Police reached earlier than the naxals and encounter took place.
