This whole issue of terror cycles in B'lore, Ahmedabad, Delhi etc. is a clean case of POLITICAL MANIPULATION & MASS MEDIA MISINFORMATION. I don't think that these attacks were perpetuated by some terrorists rather it must have surely been masterminded by our political parties. Then the question is who benefits from these? Clearly it's not the terrorist b'coz if it was so, then they would have done a much bigger damage by targeting much bigger targets. Do you think some terrorists with so much hatred in their hearts, as our media reports, would place bombs so carelessly to kill 1 or 2 in B'lore, like mosquitoes, and place dozens of it in Ahmedabad only to be defused by our great police force? Nonsense! So clearly, it's not some terrorists who gains out of this. The question then turns to who benefits from all this.. Remember, Terrorism is one of the KEY election campaign issues for BJP for nxt yr. But what if there is no such issue? Then create it!. Can someone ask for votes based on an issue that really doesn't exist? Then the only way is to create it. This is a clean case of political manipulative philosophy.. Political parties, factions, leaders across the globe use this principle. Thus by choosing their own states for the chaos, they not only escape from any suspicion of the people but also won't get caught b'coz they rule the states. The next factor is the mass media misinformation.. Look at the news… Within hours, media came up with the news: "BJP ruled states under attack", "BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh under high alert" and so on. Why should somebody pull BJP into the scene while addressing terrorism? When train bombings happened in Bombay last yr or when bombings n shootings happened in UP n other places, no one said it's Congress/NCP/Communist/BSP.. ruled states under attack. So giving such titles to the News easily twist the whole issue into a political issue.. Let's see the impact.. I'm not trying to shift the focus from terrorism or try to sideline terrorism. Of course, it should be tackled. But I see a much more sinister agenda being laid out behind the scenes.. When the media portrays news like "BJP ruled states under attack", what do you think its immediate implication is? What would be the immediate reaction of the people? Even the unsuspecting innocent people would be led to believe that BJP ruled states are unsafe or somebody out there doesn't like BJP ruling the states and of course, as usual, the Islamic terrorist are there as scapegoats for every nonsense that even happens at your backyard. But then it also indirectly points fingers to the so-called secular parties which often in BJP's rhetoric is branded as the ones supporting 'minorities, islamists' etc. So now there are multiple enemies and BJP becomes the sole guardian or savior of the Indian mankind. Does this whole issue turn the sympathy of the natural Indians towards BJP or not? Certainly it does. Thus you eliminate multiple enemies at a single blow all the while pulling the strings from behind the scenes. That's the game.. But intelligent people across the globe have always seen this issue as a political manipulative philosophy, which in lay-man language can be broken down as a case of PROBLEM, REACTION, and SOLUTION. That is, you create a PROBLEM secretly, then use the media to twist, tweak and blow up the issue; the people would REACT and then you come forward and provide your SOLUTION.. Isn't this exactly what happened when L.K Advani came on the scene within hours after blast and said that POTA/antiterrorism laws be enacted; as if it was b'coz of the lack of these laws all these things happened. Didn't you read in the following days, media sounding a similar tone in their editorials about enforcing anti-terrorist action groups and special task forces and so on? They want us to believe it! So here is the case where you create a Problem secretly (the place you rule fits the best), use media to propagate it and also use it to point out the 'culprits'(scapegoat terrorists) immediately (within hours) even before any investigation is done, giving no time for the people to calm down and think; the people would REACT and you come out and offer your SOLUTION.. This is a time tested and proven principle used across the globe by leaders & elites. Infact according to the principle, it's often to provide their SOLUTION, they create the PROBLEM, which would otherwise be not accepted by the people if they were to be brought out straight to the public. Experts and scholars will tell you that this is exactly what happened in 1995 Oklahoma City bombings and the 9/11 attacks. As a result of both the attacks, they brought in Anti-terrorism law and the PATRIOT law respectively. What did it mean for the people of America? Well, it took away a lot of their freedom guaranteed by their Constitution.. In essence, they have been taking away the freedom/liberty of American people 1-by-1. Thus in America today, you can be arrested without a warrant, you can be detained without any reason, your house can be broken-in and searched without your permission and so on; all which the US Constitution prohibits and yet all this nonsense being done in the name of 'Security'. The ideology behind is that a group of scared or fearful people would look up to their government for help and would be willing to give up their freedom or liberty for the sake of security. This is a well proven principle. As a result of this more and more powers will be taken away from the people and vested in the hands of the Govt. controlled by a small group of ruling elites. This has exactly been the philosophy followed by US (& much of West), Scholars say. Do you see a similar trend being unfolded by our BJP elites in India? If it's the CORPORATE FASCIST pulling the strings behind the scenes in US, it is the RELIGIOUS FASCIST pulling the strings behind the scenes in India. Eventually it's just different MEANS to the same END. Of course, the PROBLEM created serves several purposes. Just like the 9/11 hoax gave support & powers for US to go and attack Afghan and at the same time enforce Patriot Law & National Security IDs (the most insecure thing) against its own people, so does these terror issue helps BJP gain mass support from the public & come to power and at the same time enforce tough laws (POTA..) which can be used against anyone whom they dislike. Now you see why BJP holds Terrorism as one of their Key political agenda.. So the RELIGIOUS FASCIST in India (BJP) is following the exact footsteps of the CORPORATE FASCIST in America. If it was the misguided sheeples of US that gave the power to go n attack Afghan n then middle East and later repented off what they did, it will be the misguided cattle of India who will give these fanatics power and destroy their own country. So, when looking at the issue from all different angles, in all probability, it can be said that there's only one faction that gains from this whole terror mania and that is BJP and BJP alone. As for what to do about it, I had suggested that the struggle for power has to be shifted from the "secular vs. communal" rink to that of "social justice vs. anti-social justice" arena. Gullible lower caste Hindus (SC/ST/OBC -- who constitute more than 70% of India) do not understand what secular means. They feel they themselves are not dharma-neutral or adharmi and they cannot be enthused much in favor of fighting against the custodians of Hindu dharma – the Sanghis for the sake of secularism. On the other hand, they have all come to understand what Saamaajik Nyaay and quota system mean for them and are passionately 100% in favor of the same. We can easily defeat Sangh Pariwar in the "social justice vs. anti-social justice" arena, which will lead to political annihilation of the Sangh Pariwar. With political annihilation of the Sanghis, we can defeat them in other arenas of power. I had also suggested that if one is truly in favor of social justice, best and sure way of achieving the same is to make sure that none of the groups based on caste, religion, language, gender or any other characteristic is able to grab power in excess of the percentage of its population share. This will automatically ensure that no group based on caste, religion, language, gender or any other characteristic can be left with a smaller than its due share of power. If some segments are allowed to get more than their due share of power, it will guarantee that some others will be getting less than their due share of power, and conflicts and intrigues and injustices will continue. I would like to add that the segmentation of the society for the sake of equitable distribution of power would need to be as fine as practicable, otherwise if the caste grouping is too big, within those caste groups the upper ones run away with most of the share allocated to the group, leaving little for the others within the group. Therefore castes bigger than one or two percent should be groups all by themselves. Segments that are smaller than one percent, say, would have to be combined with other small segments at similar social and educational level for the sake of allocation of appropriate power to them. Unfortunately, social, educational and economic disparity among various castes, happens to bedevil all religions in India. Hence caste-based segmentation for the sake of social justice (equitable power sharing) among them is essential for all religions. That such caste-based segmentation and quotas are not in favor of the upper castes of any religion is also obvious. However, if these upper caste liberal minded secularists (who wield strongest pens) really wish to protect religious minorities, including their upper caste constituents, they will have to bite the bullet and campaign for caste based reservation (with segmentations as fine as practicable) in order to defeat Sanghis and successfully wean out any lower castes who may have foolishly joined them. I guess you would probably be afraid of being labeled as caste-ist. However, let me tell you that those who fight for the emancipation of the deprived, no matter whether based on caste or religion or region or gender are the true champions of liberty and democracy. If you close your eyes from lopsided accumulation of power in the hands of certain segments of the society, you cannot be a true human rights advocate, nor can you be a true democrat or secularist. If those claiming to be secular keep themselves divorced from social justice struggle, I would say, all your tears for secularism are nothing but crocodile tears or tears in vain. You can only defeat communalism in India with social justice. So this is a call for the secularists to take up the sword of social justice to annihilate communalism, if you truly want to annihilate and eradicate communalism.
