Dear Walter,

I normally do not engage in defending this religion or that. Because I truly
believe all religions are good and one can find peace anywhere. I have such
wonderful friends across all religions. But your reasons for converting to
Christianity is interesting.

Sanatana Dharma as is widely practised through its various texts ( there is
no one BOOK), says the same. Is there something in so called Hinduism that
says that Love is not Universal? The whole concept of Divinity in Hinduism
is that the Paramatma -- Param Atma-- is within oneself. The Supreme
Consciousness is the same in all beings -- animal, man, plant. So in fact to
kill an animal to eat it is something one should think about. Yes there were
times when man had to find food. But we have come past that stage.

Pure Consciousness is to treat everyone equal. That people do not realise it
and do Bhed Bhav is because of ignorance. That is precisely the point. I am
not saying there are no injustices. But to convert for this ? To take on a
name which is not native? White Christians treat all Black, Brown, Yellow
Christians equally? Why all the recent problem in Italy?

Please do not reply. I do not want to spar or engage in debate. Just think
about it. If you felt harassed as whatever you were and find peace in
Christianity-- great. All power to you.

In any event PEACE to ALL.

Geeta Athreya.
