For me the most astonishing thing is the whole herd oops... the hoard of human right activists who were questioning the police role in the Batala House and hundreds of other police encounters across India, have suddenly started trusting the police after they arrested some Hindu leaders in connection with the Malegaon blast. Notable is that the Maharashtra ATS tried to prove Lt Purohit's role in planting bombs in Samjhauta Express by using 60 kgs of RDX. The whole story built by the ATS was demolished by the other central investigating agencies immediately who had found not a bit of RDX in the Samjhauta Express blast. Interestingly the IB had found the ISI hand in the blasts in its previous. It can be easily understood what makes the ATS give Hindutva twists and curves to the whole Malegaon episode when the country is set to go for general elections.
