Thanks Anilji for bringing the issue of Ekal Vidyalayas. In fact, irrespective of so called ideology of political parties, quality education has never been an political agenda. Education issues have been relegated to non-issues in the country. When the goverment gives a cosmetic treatment to ensure "Universal Education for All" through SSA, EGS, Satelite school etc without proper infrustructure, teachers and leartning matrials, more such Ekal Vidyalaya type of school will find space to operate in the country and get opportunity to sow the seeds of hatred and poision the mind of youths with wrong believes, fact and figures. It will be very difficult to check communal forces in coming days unless and untill their foundation is uprooted through proper education system along with generating awareness among people on the issue. The CSOs need proactive action to address such critical issues.
