Akbar Firdosy, Your reply to Jharkhand came to me. I think, we need more than "respect" ... it should be "Acceptance of the Other," which, of course, includes respect could resolve the present conflict. There is also a major problem with the so-called democracy ... in most of the countries even where some kind of democracy is practiced it has degenerated into a "tyranny of the majority."
