Dear Friends, I am extremely sorry that [email protected] is circulating such idiotic letters without cross-checking its legality and legitimacy - that too in a public forum. Lenin is an artist, poet, engineer and a proffessor and also Editor of quarterly Oriya Magazine 'Nishan'. It was a case of infringement of freedom of speech and expression and Lenin was arrested for his book 'Dharma Naanre Kandhamalare Raktanadi' (Bloodshed in Kandhamal in the name of religion) allegedly containing 'inflammatory writing' and later on 17th he was released after the order by the Kurdha District Court against the unjust arrest.
A person, knowing nothing about Mr.Lenin Kumar and the case, is using highly objectionable derogatory terms against him such as ' that criminal Lenin' , ' anti nationals, and working againist their country' , 'social Evils', 'be hanged in open public'. Using such words is illegal, illegitimate, unethical and uncivilised. Why legal proceedings should not be taken against such persons/organisations ? Hope the Moderator will tell the person to beg apology and suggest him/her to behave in a civilised manner and follow the 'law' of the land and minimum norms of ethical/civilised discussion.
