And also , India will not admit it has Small pox, Polio, and even small
diseases like Chik kun gunya, Dengue and Gastro enteritis.

It is the official policy. The Tamilnadu government recently declared
that all Chik Kun Gunya cases must be dealt with by the Government run
Hospitals and primary health centres alone. This was a cunning move. As
a result, the private clinics feared loss of business and diagnosed all
feverish persons as 'Viral infection'. That solved the problem. No
dengue or Chik Kun Gunya in Tamilnadu !!!!!

Even in epidemic and pandemic conditions, they downplay the
casualities. Cholera will be named as "Gastro Enteritis". Polio
officially does not exist; Leprosy is non existent.

In the same way, no one will accept that untouchability is existing , at
least in forward states. Recently in The New India Express, photos taken
by a smart college boy were published. They showed the double tumbler
system practiced in Village tea shops. The Tamilnadu govt immediately
swung into action. In what way ? They constituted a team of party
personnel and asked them to tour TN vilages for an on the spot report.

The result was as expected. The committee submitted that there was no
untouchability in TN ! Matter closed. And, the unfortunate harijan
community continues to suffer under the political class of OBCs.

To face an issue head on requires guts and vision. They will not be
found in these opportunitic and violent political class.
