Friends, As you are aware that "Odisha Shanti 'O' Sadbhabana Abhiyan" (OSSA) is taking various initiatives towards promotion of peace and harmony in the state in general and Kandhamal in particular. In this regard OSSA. in collaboration with NSS Bureau of Utkal University are organizing a programme namely "YOUTH FOR PEACE" on the eve of Gandhiji's Martyrdom day (30th Jan 2009). The programme includes Declaration of 'Centre for Peace Studies' by his Excellency Murlidhar Chandrakanta Bhandare; Honble Governor of Orissa and SHRAMADAN at the Campus and a panel discussion on the theme 'Youth's Vision For Peace' in the main auditorium hall of the University. However the programme will start early in the morning after garlanding of Gandhi Statue at Gandhi Park with all religion prayer and coming in a peace march to the university campus.
Programme Schedule 6.30am : Garlanding and prayer at the Gandhi Statue( Gandhi Park, near NALCO, Bhubaneswar) 7. am to 7.45am: - Peace March from Gandhi Park to Utkal University. 7.45am to 8.45am – Shrarmadan inside the University Campus 8.45am to 9.30.am:- Breakfast 9.30am to12.30am Panel Discussion of the youth volunteers.. 12.30pm to 1.30pm:- Valedictory Session 1.30pm Onwards: - Lunch and Dispersion.
