Thanks for the contributors in this debate regarding PADMA AWARD. All the citizens of the country should be informed regarding the same that how their money & representation is (mis)used. This is the need of the hour to review the process of selection for PADMA AWARDs. As per my observation the concern authorities/team are misusing their role/power in the selection process. We all beleive & accept that PADMA AWARD is the prestigious honour in our country, should be gone to the most deserving personalities. But whats going on ? Most of the same is going to them whose action has not any impact on the lives of common citizens of the country. If we will look on some of the PADMA AWARDEES who r from film acting background, have to review why they are iligible for this prestigious honour of the country ? What is their contribution to the country ? As per my observation they have given a number of anti-culture based moovies to the indian community which persuaded badly. Rather than these persons the country should honour them whose action has done an affirmative change in life of community. A serious debate should be done on the same. N.A.Shah Ansari
