Criticism of the irrational and anti-human elements of faith is welcome and the
urgent need of the hour.

I welcome M A Khan's hard hitting analysis of the last retrograde faith on
earth - Islam. While inimical elements are found in all faiths in varying
degrees, Islam tops the list of hate teachings, fiction and irrationality.

Post 9/11, critical books and articles on Islam have increased tremendously and
the internet has also played a vaulable role in bringing forth bold critiques
on the sinister aspects of its teachings.

Al Jazeera estimates that every year around 6 million Muslims quit Islam out of
disgust and that the major reason why Islam is still growing is due to high
birth rates.

Why does Islam invite derision?

While the followers of other faiths have largely reformed themselves and are
working towards finding an integrated solution to solving the common woes
facing humanity and improving standards in all constructive fields, most
Muslims still remain brainwashed by the infantile and crude Quranic teachings
and are languishing at the bottom of the heap in every constructive endeavour
and their beliefs are obstacles to free thinking, freedom, free will and
cretivity and at some stage or the other it is but natural to expect that
Islam with its evenagelical zeal (that originates from the Quranic dictate of
converting the whole world to its pet theories) will certainly clash with
people of other faiths, free thinkers and the discoveries of science and then
Muslims will pick up arms to launch a Jihad as the Quran openly says that
wherever the spread of Islam meets opposition armed Jihad should be launched
until the foe is subdued and "religion is only for Allah !"
