Absolutely! I agree-we are not bothered about what children are in the present 
we only speak of them as future generation! so if that is the case only then we 
control the future!! adult idiocy!! Takes ages for adults to acknowledge they 
need to grow up and then have children...

Is the abondoning of babies because of illegitimate pregnancies, or is it 
because of the preference for boys? It could be both, but it would be good to 
know the number of girls babies abandoned, as compared to the number of boys 
abandoned. You have mentioned that in the KSRTC bus stand, 1186 babies between 
the ages of 0 and 18years were abandoned in one year: do u mean 18 months?

This is shocking news. we always thought bangalore and karnataka in general 
were progressive states. maybe too progressive !!

unsubstantiated allegation..  that's what i can attribute to your mail..  there 
are no innumerable cases of abandoning girl..  there are only few cases..

The institution of marriage doesnt consist of two individuals.. but the entire 
society of that area..  in a typical marriage, many of the relatives are called 
and formally announced that this girl is my wife and we are going to live as 
husband and wife..  so that, tomorrow, the society will automatically take 
care, when any one of the couple is affected..

There are problems where many people use marriage as means for cheating..  but 
they are always exceptions..

The roots of the problem is to be traced with those evil people..  the 
underlying traditional system is good one..

Please have a positive outlook towards our history and tradition..
