Unable to give a heir to the husband, being unhealthy and unable to have sex to satisfy the husband's thirst of sex which is normal and a must, being very agressive, fighting all the time, unable to settle family problems and live in peace on a day to day basis, Last of all, if the wife is unbalanced or mental and suffering from 'madness'the male is allowed to take another wife.
Provided he treats the two wives equal in all respects, but again the first wife has to give permission to marry the second wife. In a world of todays affairs, when a husband is unable to satisfy a single wife, her demands, her equal rights and even her educational strengths, her day to day work experience is more than "Too Much" for the modern day Muslim man to even dream of taking on an extra wife or a number of wives as all of you seem to be influenced by. I for one, being married for 38 years, know that even if given freedom or let off the hook, my husband will never ever dream of another wife, or to even divorce and get married again. Vouching for him, he rather be free and have a new woman a day than let a wife keep him her every day income provider and be the Home Minister over him , which all wives do at the end of the day. Bottom line is, no man is free, he is a slave to his wife and her demands any day, please dont make this a debate, but accept the truth and lets face facts.
