I just saw the announcement of XFire on CodeHaus's frontpage
announcements. I haven't used it or JibxSoap yet, however, they
look like there headed in the same direction. XFire is using StAX
to do the SOAP envelopes. The current SOAP payload
marshalling/unmarshing implementation is using XMLBeans 2.0 beta.
The FAQ says that the goal is to allow all different types of
bindings. It makes me wonder if JiBX would fit in nicely there.
