Excellent, 1.2.4.3 solves the problem - after some adjustments to my pom.xml (it was running against 1.2.2 and thus required some changes to follow the changes in options etc) plus source code adjustments (getPersons() -> getPersonList() etc). And the customizations to add "Serializable" now work as well. Nice.
