+1 This way the users satisfied with v1.0 features can happily use the production release v1.0. Users needing the new features of 1.0b4 or v2.0 can switch over to the bleeding edge version. My main reason for the "yes" vote is a production release can expand the user base of JiBX and also stalling releases based on features (with which most can do without) is not wise.
