I have two classes, both have a "header" field. In one case, namespaceA

In the mapping for one of the two classes, I have this structure
definition:
<structure field="header" ns="namespaceA" />
and in the other I have:
<structure field="header" ns="namespaceB" />
But the namespace is not applied in either case.
Do I really need to extend the Header mapping every time I want to apply
a different namespace?
Thanks,
Ian
