Hi, I've bought this up before, but have so far not found a good solution.
We are mapping OAGIS (http://www.openapplications.org) Business Object
Documents (BODs) to POJOs and JiBX has been fantastic for this.
After looking at JAXB, Castor, XMLBeans, etc. JiBX was the obvious choice given
its flexibility and speed.

We have really only just started and have already mapped over 500 classes with
no end in sight.
All these classes would ideally fall into several jars that reference each
other, for example:

   oagis.nouns.jar
      oagis.components.jar
         oagis.fields.jar
             oagis.codelists.jar

Where classes in the fields jar subclass and refer to classes in the codelists
jar, etc.

Currently we are having to keep all the classes in a single jar and bind them
all at once (by merging JiBX mapping fragment documents)
because JiBX cannot seem to deal with previously built jars containing base
classes that have already been jibx-bound.

Is there any way that I can arrange things such that I can build/bind
codelists.jar separately from fields.jar, etc?

The single jar build is starting to take a bit of time to run the jibx-binding
and we worry about scaling up and/or reaching
a point at which the merged mapping file becomes to large for the JiBX binding
compiler to handle.

If such a capability is unavailable today we would like to discuss how we can
help (by contributing code/time and/or $$) get such a capability implemented in
JiBX.
Thanks, - Jon
