Diego Montesinos commented on KAFKA-5539:
-----------------------------------------

I am using Kafka 0.10.2.
My folder structure is
/export/kafka/connectors/test-connector/test-connector.jar, and I've set the
plugin.path value to /export/kafka/connectors/test-connector,
/export/kafka/connectors/test-connector/,
/export/kafka/connectors/test-connector/test-connector.jar,
/export/kafka/connectors/, /export/kafka/connectors but none of them seem to
work.
My kafka folder is a link to the folder containing my actual kafka
installation, in this case kafka_2_12-0.12.2.0. I've also tried setting the
real path instead of symlinks, but I got the same result.

> I am trying to set up the plugin.path connect property, but Kafka ignores it.
> I have used the sample property file in GitHub, but I can not make it work.
> Also, I tried with both modes: standalone and distributed.
