Review Comment:
Can you add `toString()`, `hashCode()`, and `equals()` methods here? Events
appear in logs and there are places in the code (maybe just tests?) that check
event equality.

Review Comment:
At some point, wasn't the `OffsetsForLeaderEpochUtils` an instantiate-able
object?

Having a separate object that is created does use more memory, but it also
allows us to use the `LogContext` associated with this client so that it's
easier to correlate log messages to a given client.

Review Comment:
Ditto comment here about `toString()`, `hashCode()`, and `equals()` methods.
