Hey [~dvcanton] , these tasks have been fixed as part of
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-17593, sorry the status wasn't
updated yet, I just did.
Still, you can take a look at the open issues
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-18129?jql=project%20%3D%20KAFKA%20AND%20status%20in%20(Open%2C%20Reopened)
and check if there is something interesting for you. Even if they are
assigned, if you notice no recent activity feel free to ask in the Jira if they
are actively working on it. If not you can maybe take over.
Also stay in the lookout for the new jiras created. As the 4.0 release
approaches we're constantly filing new issues to wrap up the features that will
be in. Thanks!
