   I might be misunderstanding something :) 
   
   As I understand it, you did a fix to allow Java 25 tests to run, right? And 
the release artifacts target Java 8 regardless of which JDK is used to produce 
them. 
   
   I thought that when you were talking about Java 25 support being limited, 
you were talking about the only validation of Java 25 being what CI runs, and 
not e.g. anyone deploying 3.9 + Java 25 into a staging environment. 
   
   What is the Gradle-related support that is missing that would allow saying 
Java 25 is fully supported?
