Neither of the articles you link to are claiming that BlackHole is a racist
term, just that some people have asked the question: "Is it a racist term?".

I don't think the rationale is the same, (but I could be convinced otherwise!
:) ). My understanding is that the underlying meaning of 'black list' is to
exclude, which is a negative connotation. The 'black' in black list has
nothing to do with the color of the list.
However, The 'black' in black hole is about the 'color' (sort of) of an
astronomical object. Claiming that 'black hole' is a racist term is analogous
to claiming that the use of the word black as a color is racist. It's like
saying that 'black bird' is a racist, when 'black' is just describing the color
of a bird.
But maybe I'm missing something more nuanced, please let me know if I am.
