Actually, I've been seeing this problem for a while and I don't know if this is a Jive problem or a problem with my wireless router, a Netgear WGU624:
When I attempt to reserve a specific address for the Jive on my router's web dhcp config page, the router select the correct current IP and MAC for the Jive. When I give the entry a device name of "SDJive" and attempt to add the reservation, the web interface returns an error message with a nonsense string: "DHCPÅèIPªÍÍOÅ·B" I've never seen anything like this problem with any other network device I've attached to this router. I also don't have any sort of a clue about the protocol involved. Is it possible that the Jive somehow fails to play well with my router's dhcp server? -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42628
