Great utility, but sadly I am having problems getting it to work on the controller, I created a directory /usr/share/jive/applets/VLCRemote
Within this directory I placed; settings.lua VLCApplet.lua VLCMeta.lua Switched off the controller and back on again but I couldn't see the applet. Could you please let me know where I am going wrong. Also you mention in your post the 'applet installer' do you know where I can find info about this, rather than having to ssh to the controller. Many thanks and keep up the good work, being able to launch movies from the conroller will be a great feature.
