SC doesn't even have to be active. If SC is active, SqueezePlay sends
around 61 bytes per second and receives around 30 bytes per second. It
also broadcasts an extremely small amount of traffic. Now, if my
computer can handle 1 gigabit without problems, I'm sure 61 bytes/sec
won't be a problem no matter how small the packets are. :)

It's a Qnap TS-119, but as I wrote, even without SqueezeCenter running
the problem exists. Lots of available RAM on it.

It's really, really strange - it looks very much like 100 mbit/s -
around 10-11 megabytes/sec. - it's pretty consequent. Not 150 mbit/s,
not 50 mbit/s. As soon as I turn on SqueezePlay/SoftSqueeze it goes to
that speed, not gradually, and as soon as I close SP/SS, it goes to full
speed again.
