You've probably seen that in SDT for some sports, like MLB, I have optional team logos. I provide a configuration setting to choose if text, logos, or both should be displayed.
I think it would be best to separate the text and icon fields so users can choose which they want to show and where for non scrolling fields. One configuration option would be to show the away team logo on top with the team name and score to its right with the home team below it. A scrolling option would be great, but I understand it would be harder to code. Maybe that can be a wishlist item for a future release when time permits.
