Aha, thanks. The Diagnostics screen has the IP address of the controller and seems to get it from within the jive framework. Desktop Squeezeplay lacks the Diagnostics applet so I'll just have to see if it works on that. I guess the desktop version is complicated by the fact that the host machine could have multiple IP addresses whereas a "real" device only has one. I'll look into it and get back to you if I have problems. As you may have guessed SqueezeIR 1.0 isn't far away...
