snmpd is what is needed in Linux application to handle SNMP requests from client/management s/w and it would have to be integrated with the tcp and IP drivers.
IIRC The Duet receiver does not have any SNMP facilities and firmware is not open source. Routers would be the best source of info on traffic on your lan since all data will go through the router. Unfortunately many consumer routers do not have SNMP - to get SNMP facilities in your router - you can use a 3rd party firmware such as DDWRT/OpenWRT and install the SNMP package. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91890 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/jive
