it migth not hurt to factory reset it after such a big upgrade, it
could easilly had fw from 2008 loaded :-/

It is a general problem with squeezebox stock , they never upgrade
items in storage so they are completely outdated, sometimes so outdated
that it's a cath22 to get them running.

Otherwise you seems to have the current fw loaded now.
