Sorry - my explaination was a bit poor.

What I mean by HTTP parameters are the parameters that would be sent after 
the '?' in the URL i.e. www.acme.com/review.dhtml?id=560.

I agree that if the same parameter is defined twice then the deffinition lower 
down the tree should be used - but if parameters are defined high in the tree 
(and not redefined lower down) then they should also be used.
